No Surprises

No Surprise Expirations. No Hidden Caps.

Free codes last 7 days, and we say so before you print, not after. On any paid plan (from $4/mo), your codes stay live for as long as you're subscribed. The terms are the feature.

Why QR codes stop working

A dynamic QR code is a redirect. The printed square points to a short URL that a service keeps alive. When that service stops resolving the link, every printed copy dies at once.

On most platforms, free codes are time-limited trials, and the expiration terms are easy to miss until the code you printed on 5,000 flyers points to an error page.

The real danger isn't expiration. It's printing before you know the terms.

Our expiration policy, in plain English

We publish the terms this bluntly because most people on this page got burned by a service that didn't.

Free codes

Live for 7 days. This is a trial for testing your design and flow, and we label the expiration clearly before you print, not after.

Paid plans, from $4/mo

Codes never expire while your subscription is active. No scan limits, no per-scan fees, no throttling. Billed annually.

If you cancel

You keep full access until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your codes keep working for a 7-day grace window before they expire. That window is for exporting, migrating, or resubscribing.

If your free code already expired

Upgrade to any paid plan and it comes back to life. Expired codes reactivate at the same short URL, so anything you already printed starts working again. No reprint needed.

If you're here because a printed code already died, upgrading brings it back at the same short URL. Anything you already printed starts working again, with no reprint needed.

Before you print, a 60-second checklist

Four checks that keep a printed code from dying on you later.

1

Know the expiry terms in writing

Before you commit anything to print, confirm exactly when the code expires and what brings it back. Ours are the plain-English policy above.

2

Test on two devices

Scan the code on two different phones before sending anything to print. Catch a broken destination while it costs nothing to fix.

3

Use a dynamic code

A dynamic code lets you fix destination mistakes after printing. Edit the link and every printed copy updates instantly.

4

For anything mission-critical, go paid from day one

Do not print a trial code on materials you cannot recall. Start on a paid plan so the code is live for as long as you need it.

What "no surprises" actually means

The terms below apply to every paid plan, starting at $4/mo billed annually.

No expiration while subscribed

Your codes stay live for as long as your subscription is active. No renewal fees, no countdown you didn't know about.

No scan caps or per-scan fees

Every plan includes unlimited scans. Your code never stops working because it got popular, and your bill never jumps because of it.

Terms in plain writing

The free trial is labeled before you print, and the cancellation grace window is stated up front. No fine print, no gotchas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do QRFlow QR codes expire?

Free codes expire after 7 days. They are trials, and we label the expiration clearly before you print. Codes on any paid plan (from $4/mo) never expire while your subscription is active.

What happens to my QR codes if I cancel?

When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your current paid billing period. After that period ends, your codes keep working for a 7-day grace window before they expire. That window gives you time to export, migrate, or resubscribe.

My printed QR code stopped working. Can I fix it?

If it was a QRFlow free code, upgrade to any paid plan and it reactivates at the same short URL. Everything you already printed starts working again, with no reprint needed. If it was another service's code and you still control the destination, create a QRFlow dynamic code pointing there and reprint once. It is the last reprint you will do.

Can a printed QR code be updated without reprinting?

Yes. Edit the destination in QRFlow and every printed copy instantly points to the new link. The printed pattern never changes.

Are there scan limits or per-scan fees?

No. Every QRFlow plan, including the free tier, includes unlimited scans with no per-scan fees and no throttling. The only limit on a free code is the 7-day expiration, which we label before you print.

What about truly permanent QR codes?

Paid plans also include static QR codes, which are permanent in the strictest sense: the destination is encoded in the pattern itself, so they work forever and do not depend on any service, including us. The tradeoff is that a static code cannot be edited after printing. Dynamic codes are the editable kind, and they stay live while you are subscribed.

Print with confidence

No surprise expirations. No hidden scan caps. Just terms you can read before you commit anything to paper.
